Many people remember the quote as “If you build it, they will come” popularized by Field of Dreams. In reality, the line is “If you build it, he will come” spoken by the mysterious voice to Ray Kinsella. The shift from “he” to “they” is a classic example of a subtle but widespread Mandela Effect.
